Gary Burr & Georgia Middleman - An Evening of Song & Story from the Nashville Writers behind the Hits

Ticket purchases include a free exclusive download of Gary Burr and Georgia Middleman's new song "You Roll By".

Starting with Gary Burr’s first pop hit, “Loves Been A Little Bit Hard On Me” by Juice Newton to his induction into the Country Music Songwriters Hall Of Fame, Songwriter Of The Year Awards by Billboard, ASCAP and the Nashville Songwriters Association, the man has legitimately become one of the most successful and honored songwriters in history.

His career has spanned Rock, Pop and even Latin hits such as Ricky Martin and Christina Aguileras’ smash duet “Nobody Wants To Be Lonely”. And if you name the Country Artist, it’s highly likely that Gary wrote his/her biggest hit. From Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, and The Oak Ridge Boys to LeAnn Rimes, Reba McEntire, Faith Hill and on and on, the score card reads 32 top forty hits, 24 top tens and 14 number ones. But can he sing and play? Well, a while back he replaced Vince Gill as the lead singer/guitarist for Pure Prairie League (not bad, huh?) and he’s part of Kenny Loggin’s new band Blue Sky Riders as well as being a singer, multi instrumentalist in Ringo Starr’s band.

As for Georgia Middleman: She’s also one of Nashville's most accomplished singer/songwriters. She’s written hits for Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Terri Clark, Joe Nichols, Maia Sharp, Sheila E., and many others. In 2010, Keith Urban took "I'm In," which she co-wrote with Radney Foster, to the top of the country charts in 2010. Those who have seen her live, though, can attest that there is real magic in her own renditions of her songs as, she wraps one of music's most expressive voices around lovingly crafted glimpses into life and love at their most compelling.

He has been honored with Songwriter of the Year awards by Billboard Magazine, ASCAP, and the Nashville Songwriters Association of America.

One of the rare breed who writes hits alone as well as co-writing, Gar is a favorite collaborator of a collection of writing icons such as Carole King, Richard Marx, Don Schlitz, Victoria Shaw, Kenny Loggins...even Ringo Starr!

Over the years Gary gas kept his of music alive by keeping his hand in as many musical adventures as he can lead singer in the seminal country-rock group Pure Prairie League, guitarist/bassist for Carols King on her widely-acclaimed Living Room Tour, guitarist/vocalist for Ringo Starr in his band The Roundheads and thousands of other projects.

For me the next song is never far from my mind.  Every day I believe that THIS could be the day I hear or say the phrase or hum the melody that will be the best song I've ever written!

Gary has topped the charts in three decades and his melodic command and lyrical mastery continue to amaze and touch hearts of fans all over the world.

Georgia Middleman's love affair with music is evident in every song she sings. Her songs blend passion and insight into the human condition with powerful melodies in a combination that hearkens to the timelessness of classic American popular music.

One of Nashville's most accomplished singer/songwriters, Georgia has had songs recorded by Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Terri Clark, Joe Nichols, Maia Sharp and Sheila E., among many others.

Born and raised in Texas, Georgia earned a degree in acting from NYU and played the city's clubs until a visit to Nashville. "That's when everything changed," she says. "I fell in love with this town because it was a community of writers."

She earned a publishing deal with Polygram and then a record deal with Giant Records. Her solo records include "Endless Possibilites" on Giant Records and the independent "Unchanged" and "Things I Didn't Know I Knew." Georgia is currently one third of the trio, Blue Sky Riders, along with Gary Burr and Kenny Loggins.  Blue Sky Riders released their debut cd "Finally Home" in January of 2013 and are currently working on their follow-up cd.
