Artist Bio

The Mallett Brothers Band's busy tour schedule over the past seven years has helped them to build a dedicated fanbase across the U.S. and beyond while still calling the state of Maine their home. With a style that can ranges from alt-country to Americana, country, jam and roots rock, theirs is a musical melting pot that's influenced equally by the singer/songwriter tradition as by harder rock, classic country and psychedelic sounds. Texas Hill Country Explore Magazine calls them “New England’s wildly eclectic crew of genre rebels.” Bill Copeland Music News says “Combining their authentic roots rock sound with a reflective lyrical style that perceives stories on the level of epic myth, it’s like William Faulkner has been resurrected with an electric guitar in hand.."

While remaining fully independent, The Mallett Brothers Band has performed at some of the country’s top venues and festivals, including Austin Texas’s famed Continental Club; Alexandria, Virginia’s Birchmere (sharing the stage with Oklahoma red-dirt rockers The Turnpike Troubadors), New Hampshire’s Meadowbrook Pavilion (opening for The Allman Brothers Band, and again opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd); Nashville’s Bluebird; and Little Rock’s The Rev Room, to name a few. Festival appearances include FloydFest (Virginia), Hop Jam (Vermont), Nateva (Maine), The New England Country Music Festival (New Hampshire), Eastbound Throwdown (New York), and many more.

Born of the waters of the Saco River, brothers in all but name, the Ghost of Paul Revere is Maine's premier holler-folk band. Building their songs around powerful three-part harmonies, energetic performances, and a non-traditional way of interpreting traditional American music. Drawing from a broad array of music including Elmore James and the Beatles, to Tom Waits and more, The Ghost writes powerful songs, built on melody and energy, designed to be performed with passion. From soft folk to foot-stomping bluegrass, the songs have unique identities while still remaining undeniably the Ghost of Paul Revere. Their lives shows have gained the reputation of being some of the best in the Northeast.

The band was formed around childhood friends Max Davis, Sean McCarthy, and Griffin Sherry. They put the Ghost of Paul Revere together in 2011 with Matt Young. In that short time they have played from Fort Kent to New York City in everything from houses, churches, music halls, and even sail boats. Their debut EP North was met with high praise and fanfare. Recorded in late 2011, and release in the summer of 2012, it became the 15th best selling local album in Maine and New Hampshire for 2013 in just 5 months. In August 2013, the group went into the studio with Jonathon Wyman to record their first full length album. Believe was released on January 14th, 2014.

Gracie Day is currently nominated as 2018's "Female Performer of the Year" and "Best in State - CT" by the New England Music Awards, an organization that acknowledges independent, original acts across all six states. After releasing her first EP in November of 2017 and winning "Best New Act" at NEMA, Day is quickly getting noticed for her songwriting, singing and performances. She was a semi-finalist in the international Unsigned Only Songwriting Contest, and was selected for a showcase at the prestigious Durango Songwriter's Expo, a convention for professional songwriters and industry pros. Day travels back and forth from Nashville while recording her new songs at the famous Sound Emporium where everyone from Johnny Cash to Alabama Shakes has recorded. Gracie Day's latest single, "Tennessee" is steadily climbing on Spotify, gaining thousands of plays.

Previously based in Hartford, and now in Central Massachusetts, Day was named “Best Folk Band” in CTNow’s Best of Hartford Reader’s Poll for 2017. The genre “Folk”, though a large influence on Day’s lyric writing, doesn’t quite describe the mixture of rock, soul and country in her sound. Gracie Day is now working with a new line-up and playing larger stages all over New England, with plans to tour further next year. With Joel Rines on bass, Brooks Milage on keys and Duncan Arsenault on drums, Gracie's earnest voice and heartfelt storytelling cuts through a landscape of dynamic sound and thoughtful arrangement. Gracie Day is currently releasing singles while working on her first full-length album. Meanwhile, make sure you catch a performance on a stage near you.
