Another Backyard Music Series coming to Infinity Hall Hartford! The theme for this one is certainly Funky. Three incredible bands, all local to CT, bring Funky Blues and Jam Rock to all new heights. Creamery Station will be touching upon the tunes of the Grateful Dead and original music of their own. EGGY is a fusion funk rock band that has incredible harmonies between all their vocals and instruments. The Mushroom Cloud takes the pysch rock of Pink Floyd, and mixes it in a bowl of the Dead and Phish, and what comes out is some long strange trips of boundary pushing tones. The Mushroom Cloud is an explosive funk-rock band from New Haven, CT with Paul Harris on guitar, keys, and vocals, Matt Cuddy on guitar, Charlie Mazur on bass, and Russ Harris on drums. Since they formed in 2011, The Cloud's been blending funk, rock, jazz, and electronica into cleverly written passages of music mixed with powerful improv jams.
