Two of CT’s own, Jeff Pevar and Morris "Mo" Pleasure are both currently touring with the iconic artist, Bette Midler on the Divine Intervention Tour, but on their day off are bringing the amazing all-star lineup of 1st-call, world-class musicians to Infinity Hall Hartford, including the amazing Sonny Emory on drums!! This is a show not to be missed!!

Jeff and Mo cut their teeth playing in Hartford area bands in their teens but first toured together with the Ray Charles Orchestra in the 80's and have been playing music together ever since, whenever schedules align.

This will be a one time performance of musicians from some of the most accomplished touring acts out there! We hope you can share the celebration with us!!

Artist Bio

Jeff Pevar is a sought after guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, arranger and vocalist who in 2016 was inducted into the NY Blues Hall Of Fame. Jeff has recorded and performed with some of music’s finest including, Ray Charles, James Taylor, Bette Midler, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Joe Cocker, Kenny Loggins, Jimmy Webb, Carly Simon, David Foster, Marc Cohn, Laura, Nyro, Rickie Lee Jones, Phil Collins, Alan Parsons, Jefferson Starship, Meatloaf, David Wilcox, Chaka Khan, Shawn Colvin, Bill Evans, Grateful Dead’s bassist, Phil Lesh & Friends, Aztec Two Step, and many others. 

Jeff has toured throughout the globe and performed numerous times at the Montreux Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, The Royal Festival Hall in London, Carnegie Hall in NYC (with David Crosby and Graham Nash), and performed for the 30th anniversary of Woodstock with David Crosby & CPR and the 40th anniversary of Woodstock playing bass with Jefferson Starship, both at the original site of Bethel  Woods/Woodstock, NY. Jeff has more recently been touring with 2 time Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Inductee, David Crosby and performances with his own ensembles. Jeff & his wife Inger Nova Jorgensen have an original solo project that released a 5 song EP of original material called “Anthem” and has toured in Europe on the heels of that release as well as shows on both coasts. David Crosby is one of the featured guests on the song “Salt Sand Sky Blue. Jeff & Inger also have a side project called “Zepdrix” that plays the music of Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix. Zepdrix was born out of a private Halloween party and was such a smash hit they decided to continue to do select performances, which included being invited to play MainStage at the Oregon Country Fair and other concerts on the west coast. 

Jeff released his debut solo CD "From The Core" in 2012, featuring his acoustic prowess, recorded initially in the Cave of the Oregon Caves National Monument which includes guest vocalist from YES, Jon Anderson on the song “River Of Dreams". Jeff also produced, arranged and released the Jazz Is Dead CD, “Grateful Jazz” for the jam-band he was touring with at the time, celebrating the music of the Grateful Dead in a high energy, instrumental jazz-rock fashion, featuring renowned musicians Rod Morgenstein and T Lavitz (from the Dregs), Alphonso Johnson (from Weather Report) and other iconic guest musicians. Jeff toured with JID with famed drummer Billy Cobham, bassist Kenny Gradney and T Lavitz.

Jeff has been busy as a producer working in his own studio for many years when he off the road, producing music for other artists and writing music for TV and film. Known affectionately as Mo Pleasure, this renowned multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer, began playing acoustic piano at the age of four and by his early teens already mastered several instruments including bass, trumpet, guitar, drums and violin.

Upon receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from University of Connecticut, Mo began his professional music career playing bass with Ray Charles. He then began working as a session musician, backing some of the most accomplished talents in Jazz ,R&B and pop including George Duke, Natalie Cole, Dianne Reeves, Christina Aguilera, Jonathan Butler, Rachelle Ferrell, Brian Culbertson, Michael McDonald, Oleta Adams, Chaka Khan, Roberta Flack, Marcus Miller, Mary J. Blige, and Frankie Beverly and Maze, to name a few.

From 1989 through 1992, Mo was both keyboardist and musical director with saxophonist Najee, pianist Alex Bugnon, and vocalists Philip Bailey, Patti Austin and Jon Lucien. In 1993, he became a member of the legendary group Earth, Wind & Fire, and ascended to become the band’s musical director from 1994-2001. Mo was featured playing keyboards, trumpet and guitar with Janet Jackson’s 2001 All For You tour and played keyboards and trumpet with Boney James’ 2004 Pure tour. As a principal member of the group Devoted Spirits he was featured playing keyboards for Jimi Hendrix’s 60th Birthday Celebration and the 2004 Power of Soul: A Tribute to Jimi Hendrix tour.

Mo was a keyboardist in Michael Jackson’s final touring band that was scheduled to perform in the late superstar’s historic 2009, comeback tour at London’s O2 Arena.

Most recently, Mo toured with David Foster, Average White Band and Peter Cetera.

In addition to performing at worldwide jazz festivals including Montreux, North Sea, St. Lucia, Cancun, and Montreal, Mo has been a featured concert pianist, performing Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra and for the Boston Ballet.

There are many Television and Video performances to Mo’s credit, including Ray Charles BBC Special, Mad TV, BET on Jazz, VH1, The Tonight Show, X- Factor, The Talk, George Lopez Show, Earth, Wind & Fire documentary Shining Stars and HBO Special – Janet Jackson in Hawaii. His movie soundtrack credits include “Talkin’” featured in the Disney movie “Three Men and a Little Lady” and the EWF single “Cruisin,” featured in Spike Lee’s “Get On The Bus.”

Three of Mo’s group project CDs were released independently; Devoted Spirits’ Tribute to Earth, Wind & Fire, Audio Caviar’s Transoceanic, a collaboration featuring Mo on piano, bass, trumpet and flugelhorn, and Native Son, a Rock/Soul project with bandmates John “JR” Robinson , Michael Thompson, and Bobby Watson all from Rufus, Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson fame.

Mo’s first offering as a solo artist, Elements of Pleasure, was released in 2006 and remixed and released as Elements of Pleasure-Elevated in 2012 on Vivid Sound Japan. The release earned him a devoted worldwide following and established him as a producer and multi-instrumentalist.
