Greg Allman’s son Michael (and you’ll think you’re listening to Greg), Charles Neville (from the famed Neville Bros) and Jeff Pitchell (CT’s pride n joy) are bringing the soulful sounds of their new band back to Norfolk to ring in the New Year!

Every once in a while, you get a combination of singers, songwriters and musicians who not only have recognized achievements, but combine their unique talents to present an unforgettable show!! The Allman Brothers earned a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award in 2012. MICHAEL ALLMAN, eldest son of Gregg Allman, American rock/blues, Rock Hall of Famer, not only sings like his father, but looks like him as well! MICHAEL is an original songwriter but you will also hear some of the ALLMAN BROTHERS greatest hits!

CHARLES NEVILLE, Grammy Award winning legendary Neville Brother, is a vocals, sax, flute man, who has gold/platinum records from six different countries! CHARLES has performed on such popular TV shows as the "The Today Show," "Oprah," Saturday Night Live," "Tonight Show," and "Letterman,"! CHARLES' ethereal performances at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival have earned him invitation to perform there every year! CHARLES has also performed with Ray Charles, James Brown, Santana, The Grateful Dead, etc!!!

JEFF PITCHELL, singer/songwriter/guitar player and was invited earlier this year to perform with the ALLMAN BROTHERS in NYC to a sold-out Beacon Theater. JEFF blends Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King and Jimi Hendrix experiences with his own soulful, superb vocals. His song "Eye for an Eye" won an International Songwriting Contest and was recently recorded by the legendary John Mayall. Jeff has had a #7 CD on national Billboard charts, won Best Guitarist in State of CT, and with Texas Flood, Best Band in CT, this year winning Best Blues Show in New England in six-state vote! Jeff has performed with BB King, Ted Nugent, Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead, J Geils, and has appeared on the Don Imus TV/Radio show, etc..

The ALLMAN, NEVILLE, PITCHELL BAND bring together three phenomenal multi-talented artists, who provide a wonderful evening of music!

When Saagar Ace stood in front of a microphone in a sound proof studio to record his first song, there was no nervous anticipation, his heart was not racing, his palms were not sweaty. The music echoed in his headphones and he was off singing with his pure, classic voice. This was home! Saagar has always wanted to create music and record songs. “Singing comes naturally to me. My Mom tells me that I could sing before I could talk.”

Ever since he was a kid, people have remarked on his singing talent. “My kindergarten teacher told my parents after my first performance as a 5-year old that I was going to become a singing star.” His parents enrolled him to Suzuki violin classes when he was 5. The Suzuki “mother-tongue” method of teaching music trained Saagar's ear to discern musical notes and made him appreciate the wonder of music. “I was humming Bach and Mozart melodies before I knew who they were.”

Throughout high school Saagar has kept singing in choirs, chorals, and a capella groups. He has performed solos in many local coffee-house shows and musicals, as well as nationally. In January of 2013, Saagar was officially signed as a recording artist by Rocket Records, a rapidly rising record label in the commercial music industry which is currently being led by world-renowned music producer Tim Coons (Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, JoJo, etc.).

Even though Saagar likes all kinds of music, what he really enjoys singing the most is Pop and R&B. “I want to create music that blends the sounds of Pop with the beats of Contemporary R&B. Just give me a haunting melody, soulful lyrics, and toe-tapping rhythm, and I’m in the groove.”

Besides singing, he enjoys playing tennis, swimming and hanging with his friends. He is optimistic about his chances of getting recognition for his music, as he states: “I am sure once people hear my songs, they will enjoy them and support me to create more beautiful music.”
