GENRE

American Roots / Bluegrass
The Zolla Boys, Gracie Day & The Knights, and Auguste & Alden

Supporting local musicians is something we take extra pride in here at Infinity Hall. This show will bring out 3 of our favorite local groups, putting them together for a 3 set Friday Night in Norfolk. The Zolla Boys make their return, with new banjo player in hand, CT & New England Music Award-winning Folk Rock powerhouse Gracie Day & The Knights makes their debut, and Auguste & Alden take a step onto the big stage in support of their new hit song too. This will make for an all-around fun evening of great Americana style music at Infinity Hall Norfolk.

Artist Bio

BIO

17 year old Ben Zolla and his 16 year old brother Sam started playing music with their dad, Larry in the spring of 2012. What started as a hobby quickly grew into regular bookings at music halls, bluegrass festivals and concerts. The Boys have found their voices; from the songs of the Louvin Brothers, Stanley Brothers, and Jim and Jesse, to Bob Dylan and Blue Highway. They have been featured on the Emerging Artist stage at the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, and perform at numerous bluegrass festivals throughout New England.

Gracie Day is currently nominated as 2018's "Female Performer of the Year" and "Best in State - CT" by the New England Music Awards, an organization that acknowledges independent, original acts across all six states. After releasing her first EP in November of 2017 and winning "Best New Act" at NEMA, Day is quickly getting noticed for her songwriting, singing and performances. She was a semi-finalist in the international Unsigned Only Songwriting Contest, and was selected for a showcase at the prestigious Durango Songwriter's Expo, a convention for professional songwriters and industry pros. Day travels back and forth from Nashville while recording her new songs at the famous Sound Emporium where everyone from Johnny Cash to Alabama Shakes has recorded. Gracie Day's latest single, "Tennessee" is steadily climbing on Spotify, gaining thousands of plays.

Previously based in Hartford, and now in Central Massachusetts, Day was named “Best Folk Band” in CTNow’s Best of Hartford Reader’s Poll for 2017. The genre “Folk”, though a large influence on Day’s lyric writing, doesn’t quite describe the mixture of rock, soul and country in her sound. Gracie Day is now working with a new line-up and playing larger stages all over New England, with plans to tour further next year. With Joel Rines on bass, Brooks Milage on keys and Duncan Arsenault on drums, Gracie's earnest voice and heartfelt storytelling cuts through a landscape of dynamic sound and thoughtful arrangement. Gracie Day is currently releasing singles while working on her first full-length album. Meanwhile, make sure you catch a performance on a stage near you.

Auguste and Alden are a New England based sibling duo, accompanied by drums to make them a strong unique power trio. Growing up as homeschooled kids on the road playing music all over the country, Auguste and Alden have written a catalog of over 200 songs. The unique sound of their original songwriting as well as their signature blood harmonies have led them to share their music at incredible events and venues such as Infinity Hall, Daryl's House, NAMM, Rockwood Music Hall, Nectars, Gathering Of The Vibes, The Ridgefield Playhouse, Soulfest, Arlenes Grocery, Bowery Electric and many more.

Auguste and Alden consist of Auguste on lead vocal and bass, Alden on lead vocal and guitar, and Tyler Levander on drums. This alternative/rock/pop power trio is known for lighting up the room with their passion filled songs, feel, and love for what they do.
