Multiple Blues Awards Winner and Grammy nominee Shemekia Copeland is the heir to the rich tradition of soul drenched divas!! Daughter of Texas Blues Guitar Legend Johnny Clyde Copeland, Shemekia's music comes from the Harlem streets where she grew up. While only in her early 30s, Shemekia opened for the Stones, headlined the Chicago Blues Festival, performed at the White House, plus entertained our troops overseas. Expect Shemekia to perform familiar favorites including “Its 2 A.M.,” “Livin' on Love,” "Never Going Back," “Who Stole My Radio?” plus songs from her brand new musical tour-de-force 'Outskirts Of Love.'
