About Infinity Music Hall & Bistro

Infinity Hall Norfolk, CT

Infinity Hall is more than just a concert venue – it's an entertainment & dining experience.

We started with a single location in picturesque Norfolk, Connecticut. Built in 1883 as a combination opera house, barbershop, and saloon, the venue has a long history in the entertainment business. Today, the Norfolk venue retains its original stage and beautiful details, but has been restored to include a world-class sound system and modern facilities.

OUR HISTORY

Infinity Hall Norfolk

Village Hall 1883 - 1999

Founded by three resourceful Norfolk ladies as Village Hall in 1883, the building is considered to be the first “multi-purpose community center” in the country. They raised public and private funds to fund the construction. Through the years Village Hall theatre served as the central location in town for all forms of verbal communication and entertainment, including town meetings, lectures, talent shows, Vaudeville performances and many more. During the last half of the 20th century, the Theatre went largely unused and fell into disrepair. Town residents remember the Theatre being used for the sale of Christmas Trees. The street level of Village Hall has housed the town butcher, the Post Office, Town Hall itself, the Apple House grocery market and many other businesses over the years.

Greenwoods Theatre 1999 - 2006

In 1999 the dilapidated building was purchased and restored it to be a seasonal theatrical business called The Greenwoods Theatre. It was a remarkable restoration and, quite literally, saved the building. Part of their renovation included rebuilding the “tower” portion of the building to look just like the original (which had been removed at some earlier point).

Infinity Hall Norfolk 2007 – Infinity

In 2007, Dan Hincks acquired the building at public auction. Renamed Infinity Hall, the building was extensively renovated to include a state of the art, acoustically pristine Music Hall and fine dining Bistro. The Music Hall’s first performance featured Kenny Rankin on October 17th, 2008 and has since hosted more than 1,200 concerts including most all genres.   Located on the street level, Infinity Bistro opened its doors to rave reviews on May 1st, 2009. The Bistro has become very popular both for pre-concert dinners and foodie enthusiasts. The public has embraced Infinity Hall. As of this printing, more than 200,000 patrons have attended shows and dined at the Bistro since its opening.
