Artist Bio

“Explosive” and “jaw-dropping” have both been used to describe a live show by the band known as Kung Fu. Kung Fu came together in 2009, beginning as a jam session between friends at Stella Blues bar in New Haven, Connecticut, where the guys would play their favorite fusion, rock, and funk tunes. The band has been compared to early Headhunters or Weather Report merged with contemporary EDM. The result creates an intense electro-fusion dance arrangement.

The band has five members:

Tim Palmieri (guitar and vocals)

Robert Somerville (tenor sax and vocals)

Beau Sasser (keyboards and vocals)

Adrian Tramontano (drums)

Chris DeAngelis (bass and vocals).

Balkun Brothers is a powerful sibling rock band from New England. The band has played with artists such as Gary Clark Jr., Anvil, Chris Robinson, Gogol Bordello, Collective Soul, Johnny Winter, DOPAPOD, Galactic and more. The band's new album, 'TWO LEATHER JACKETS', was released in November 2025 and was recorded at the legendary Sunset Sound Studio in Los Angeles, CA with producer, Keith Snow (Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Better Than Ezra), in the same room Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and Michael Jackson recorded in on Prince's microphones! Balkun Brothers is currently signed to Sony Music and Auto Bon Records. They are currently on a full national tour that has already taken the band from California to New York City. Balkun Brothers' live set is energetic and the blood brothers are fully in stride as a cohesive live band after grinding on the road for the last decade including six European tours. Their unique sound mixes rock, punk, metal, funk and blues that keeps the listener interested and on the edge of their seat at every show!
