We couldn’t be more excited to be bringing these two stellar groups to the new Infinity Hall Hartford. The night kicks off with the indie-folk-rock of The Felice Brothers (part Bob Dylan, part Kurt Vile and part Mumford & Sons with their own twist). The Brothers are followed by the roots rock of Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, a set we expect it will be nothing short of remarkable! Nicki Bluhm and the Grambers popular “Van Sessions” took off with their version of Hall and Oats’ “I Can’t Go For That” amassing over 2.2 million YouTube views but if you’ve never seen them live on stage you are seriously missing out. Their eclectic mix of American roots music is highlighted by Bluhm’s phrasing and bluesy inflections coupled with a tight band giving off a vintage vibe. The sharp lyrics and vocal styling’s of The Felice Brothers don’t deserve to be boxed in by any one genre and all the more reason they’ve become a festival favorite over the last few years. Their new release Favorite Waitress shows the band coming full circle marrying the intensity of their live shows with their rootsy beginning.
"Nicki has filled a void in music with her brand of vintage-tinged rocking country soul -- music that's like an enchanting friend you've known for a short while but feels like you've known forever." - Chicago Tribune
