Rachael Yamagata

Rachael Yamagata would defend you in a bar fight and then invite everyone out to stargaze inthe parking lot. She’s a wilderness guide for wanderers, a galactic diplomat, a dreamscape designer, a heartache survivalist, a pioneer. She speaks to the misfits, the soul searchers, the silent types longing to be cracked open.

Her hardcore fans find her for the major surgeries of life, finding refuge in the dissonant beauty of her chord progressions and songwriting that cuts to the bone. A vocal shapeshifter, she delivers live shows that spark both playful giddiness and profound catharsis. But Yamagata is not here to heal you—she's here to show you how to heal yourself.

Sandy Bell:

Sandy Bell, a musician and singer-songwriter born in Cleveland, OH, found refuge in music amidst a challenging start in life. Her work transforms themes of despair and grief into cathartic sonic experiences, exploring themes of ancestral trauma, addiction, and a quest for solace. Bell’s first solo debut album, ‘When I Leave Ohio' delves into the American psyche with a blend of poetic precision and cinematic psychological insight. The title track features her ethereal voice and the haunting violin of ‘Joan as Police Woman’, earning praise from Stereo Embers Magazine for Sandy’s "crushing emotional exactitude, with her work being nothing short of staggering.”

Her latest album, *ENTELECHY* (2023), draws inspiration from the mysteries of the cosmos and the intricacies of nature, earning acclaim for its stirring melancholy and musical grace. After working with artists she adores from the late Jeff Buckley to the brilliant ‘Bat for Lashes’, Sandy is now coming into her own, selling out venues in her hometown of Woodstock, NY where artist Rachael Yamagata attended a performance and was quoted saying “There is something otherworldly about Sandy and her offerings that encourage us to unapologetically reach for words like ‘channeling’ and ‘spirit’ and ‘healing’ and 'essence.’ Her role as an artist is bigger than most may understand at first, but if you dive into the ocean that she offers, you will find magic very few have privy to thus far.”

Sandy will join Rachael for her ‘Unseen Hearts’ Tour this Fall 2024 and perform with her full band. Fans of Kate Bush, Joanna Newsom, and Joni Mitchell should find a similar engaging artistry to evoke curiosity and wonder and leave them asking for more.
