Matthew Dicks, as always. Speak Up co-founder, multiple time Moth Grand Slam winning storyteller, author and teacher.

Erin Barker: Also a multiple time Moth Grandslam winner. Has been featured on the Moth Radio Hour many times. Co-founder and host of The Story Collider. She is AWESOME!

Danny Artese: Many time Moth Story Slam winner as well as regular participant in many story telling shows including Risk, The Story Collider, Yum's the Word.

Linda Storms: Speak Up fan favorite, her story is the reason for the theme of this show!

Homer "Skip" Meade: Professor, author, civil rights activist. He has AMAZING stories from his life and is returning to Speak Up for the second time. Artist Bio

Speak Up is a Hartford-based storytelling organization that seeks to promote the art of personal storytelling to a wide audience and foster and support a community of storytellers in Connecticut. Speak Up brings professional and amateur storytellers to stage to share true stories from their lives. Speak Up founders and producers Matthew and Elysha Dicks work closely with storytellers to help them craft their stories for the stage and teach storytelling workshops to storytellers and professionals at all levels.

Speak Up shows feature storytellers who tell true stories from their lives on a predetermined theme. Our shows showcase a blend of seasoned storytellers and people telling stories for the first time.

In addition to Infinity Hall, Speak Up has established partnerships with Real Arts Ways,  The Mount, The Connecticut Historical Society, and The Noah Webster House.
