A St. Patrick’s Day Charity Celebration with the Griffith Celtic Dance Company is your best family friendly St. Patrick’s Day choice in the greater Hartford region. Enjoy a one-hour show complete with heart-pounding rhythms of traditional and contemporary Irish Step Dance from champion-level dancers from the Griffith Academy of Dance. The entire evening will benefit Footwear With Care, a local non-profit organization providing durable footwear as well as well medical screenings to homeless children and adults in Hartford. Footwear With Care will be onsite to meet and greet all ticket holders prior to the show.
The Griffith Academy of Dance is one of the nation’s top Irish dance schools with a long tradition building community and character through the art of dance. For more than 65 years, the Griffith Academy has produced top competitive Irish dancers and international performers. The Griffith Academy, founded in 1954, is one of the nation’s top Irish dancing schools with a long tradition building community and character through the art of dance. The School has produced top competitive Irish dancers and international performers for more than fifty years. In addition to Irish, the School offers classes in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz to all levels ages 3 to adult. We also offer an all-boys class.
