“It’s Jazz. It just doesn’t sound like it.” This is how virtuoso guitarist Oz Noy describes his intoxicating blend of jazz, funk, rock, blues, and R&B. His unique style has broken all the rules of instrumental guitar music by focusing on the groove. Taking one look at Oz Noy’s resume and the long list of Artists he has performed, toured and recorded with is a testament to his skilled guitar playing and diversity of style. Artists such as; Harry Belafonte, Richard Bona, Cyndi Lauper, Don Was, Nelly Furtado, Wiz Khalifa, Sting, Allison Krauss and countless others have all called on Oz to contribute to their sound. Joining Noy is two time Grammy winning bassist Oteil Burbridge and drummer Keith Carlock. Burbridge, most recognized as bassist for the Allman Brothers, has been in the music business touring and recording for over three decades. He has shared the stage with rock and blues legends ranging from Eric Clapton and Levon Helm to Bonnie Raitt and Trey Anastasio and more. Carlock whose resume, similar to his peers, reads like a who’s who of music’s biggest stars is praised by the likes of Sting and Donald Fagan for his power, patience and creativity.
