A fundraiser benefitting The Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Glastonbury featuring a collection of culturally rich, adventure-packed, and incredibly inspiring documentary films.
More than a dozen short films from the Mountainfilm Festival in Telluride, Colorado will be shown with topics ranging from rock climbing, mountain biking, and whitewater rafting to mountain culture and global conservation issues. Exciting, colorful, and thought-provoking, these films connect us to fascinating parts of the world and those who explore it in unique ways. All proceeds from this event will benefit The Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Glastonbury’s animal, conservation, and education programs.
The mission of The Connecticut Audubon Society is to conserve Connecticut’s environment through science-based education and advocacy focused on the state’s bird populations and habitats. The Center at Glastonbury has educated more than 20,000 K-12 students in the greater Hartford area. Additionally, over 30,000 community members have taken part in various adult, family and youth programs in the past five years.
